You’ll learn the fundamentals of kumiko construction and create a square asa-no-ha, or stylized hemp leaf pattern, one of the most iconic and meaningful designs in Japanese woodworking. With guidance from your instructor, you’ll cut, fit, and assemble each piece with care.
